Hello I´ve received my Cayin A-88T and Jolida MV mkII a month ago. I´m very satisfied with them but I read that changing the tubes the sound will improve.
So what are your tube recommendation for Cayin KT88, 6SL7 and 6SN7 tubes and for Jolida 12AX7 and 12AT7 tubes?
Whree I can find them?

Salut, pour les tubes du Cayin je ne sais pas mais pour la Jolida music van j'ai testé des RTC 12 AX7 S + Mullard CV 4024 cryo valve (tres bon tubes) et c'était un tout petit peu mieux mais ces tubes coutent vraiment trop chères pour une si petite différence. Je pense vraiment que la music van marche tres bien avec ses tubes d'origines et qu'il vaut mieux changer plutot les tubes du Cayin. Tiens au faite, tu as branché ta music van sur la sortie rca out2 ???
Je pense pour le Cayin que tu devrais changer en priorité les tubes 6SL7 et 6SN7 qui sont pas terrible parait-il, par contre les tubes de puissance KT88 sont plutot pas mal et équilibrés...
C'est bien les tubes chinois Shuguang que tu as sur le Cayin ???

Vous ne notez pas une différence importante entre l'original et le Mullard ceux ? ! Certains dans les forum allemands reccomended le Mullard et des tubes de JJ pour le système mv de Jolida ! Et pour le solénoïde de Cayin JJ e Tung Sol tubes.
Je pense que je vais envoyer le Jolida et le Cayin au magasin ici au Portugal aux tubes de changement et en faire des coups secs ! Quels sont les coups secs sur le jolida ce vous recomend ?

Pour la jolida MV , je confirme que les electro Harmonix d'origines sont tres bien, l'écoute est bien équilibrée mais apres cela dépend des gouts de chacuns et du reste de l'ensemble. Peut -etre qu'il te faudrait en premier changer les tubes d'entrée de l'ampli...La sortie rca out2 de la music Van donne la meilleure sonorité...
Sinon pour les tubes d'entrée de l'ampli, beaucoup de possesseurs ont optés pour des Sylvania VT 229 a la place des 6SL7 + des 6SN7WGT Tung Sol...

Regarding the 12AX7 I would reco some NOS like GE or Sylvania. No idea about the 12AT7. That's quite easy to find on the net on website such as tubedepot or tubestore.
If you want to go ahead with the new production, I strongly advise to avoid JJ/Tesla because of their high resonance phen and the very thin glass envelope, c'est vraiment du caca. I would choose Electro Harmonix. But please consider the NOS.
Re the amp, changing the pre amp tubes will provide you the most significant improvement. You could keep the kt88 during the break in.
6sl7: Philips NOS JAN easy to find and high quality
6sn7: Sylvania NOS, ditto
Hope it helps. By the way, can you subsitute EL34 to the KT88 or it's impossible to do that on this gear?

Re these 2 US websites, they are realiable, don't worry. Moreover, they're fast!
Don't forget to give your feedback on the JJ.
A last advise: do not change the tube every 5 minutes when testing. I know it is hard to do but change them everyday or every 2-3 days. This is the best to hear the differences and this is the best for your amp/cd player as well!!!

Actualy Im using the Xindak FS-1 speakers cables and BC-01 XLR cables. For the price they cant be beat IMO.

Hello! In the next I´m going to send my cayin to a store to put JJ kT 88, Sylvania VT-231 e RCA 6SL7. The store has svetlana kt 88 and GE kt88 but the seller told the difference of budget between these and the JJ doesn´t justifies to invest twice or more the money to buy them instead of JJs. Do you agree? What is your experience with this tubes?

Hello! I tested both JJ KT88 and EAT KT88 on the store for about 4 hours. I listen with Cayin A-88T and Sonus faber Guarneri Memento 
The JJs didn´t brought many changes when compared Shuguang KT88 (original tubes). More detailed and with beautiful bass.
The EAT are superb. They brought another dimension to the sound stage with lot of power and detail. They are very expensive (750 euros) but they are much better than JJs (200 euros). I´ve brought to my home to try with my triangle celius speakers. The bandwith of sound extremes improved a lot but the Triangle became more discontroled and I have to teturn them to the store. Maybe when upgrade the Speakers I will upgrade tubes to EAT too.
No I run original KT88 With Sylvania (pre amp tubes) VT231 and VT-229. The sound upgrade was huge and reccomend this tubes. Is very important in my opinion do the pre-amp tubes upgrade!
No I want to upgrade the KT88 and next week I will try Svetlana winged C KT88 and 6550.
But I want to do some tweaking on the Cayin A-88T and on Jolida Music Van.
I read some threads where some people like Thibault Siezen and Andre Devillers did the tweaking of this equipments! But I only can see the photos and not the name of the brands and the type of equipment changed. I cannot send the Cayin and Jolida to Them in France to be tweaked because is too expensive!
So can anyone put here the things to change in both Cayin A-88T and Jolida Music Van with names of components! PLEASE!!!!
